Airport rules

 

a) Adherence to the following airport rules is mandatory and will enhance the safety of your flights into and out of Citrus Hedging Ranch Airport FAA ID: 96FD.  These policies apply to the any pilot during operations in and around 96FD Airport at altitude below 500 AGL.

b) All operation in and over the airport are conducted at pilot discretion and responsibility after his/her assessment of the runway condition and aircraft performances. Any information provided by the Airport manager shall be use by the Pilot as a guidance only and the Pilot retains the final responsibility to initiate, conduct and termite any operations in/around and over the airport.

c) Pilot shall not use the airport when is considered closed by the airport manager. All pilot shall check the notam(s), available the website airport96FD.com, before any operation in, around and over the airport.

d) All pilot must hold, at minimum, a valid sport pilot’s license and appropriate medical.  Student pilots are allowed only after previous coordination with the Airport Manager.  

e) All pilot/owner MUST provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) in the amount of at least $1,000,000 liability and $100,000 property damage naming as additional insured: Citrus Hedging Ranch Airport/ Anyway Aviation Inc. 9000 NE 120th street Okeechobee, FL 34972. In case of non compliance owner/pilot will assume responsibilities and liabilities for any operation releasing the Airport, Airport Manager and his employees/ members/ associates by any liability.

f) New COIs MUST be provided to the Airport Manager at policy renewal time each year or upon request of the Airport Manager.

g) "Touch and go” maneuvers are not allowed. Low passages below 500 ft AGL, other than a go around for safety reason, are not allowed.

h) Operation of aircraft in excess of 6000 lbs MTOW must be coordinated in advance with the Airport Manager.

I) Do not taxi outside the runway or taxiways.

j) Backtrack must be conducted only in the runway threshold,

k) All aircraft operated from Citrus Hedging Ranch Airport must have a current annual or conditional inspection or be on an approved progressive maintenance inspection program.  Pilot shall make the aircraft logbooks available to the Airport Manager, upon request. Ultralight vehicle as defined in 14CFR§103.1 not allowed in the airport.

l) Aircraft maintenance in the airport is allowed only by the local FBOs. 

m) Inoperative airplane, airplane with missing part(s), abandoned airplane are not allowed and must removed within 30 days. In case of non compliance the Airport Manager can dispose the airplane removal at owner cost.

n) All aircraft operated from Citrus Hedging Ranch Airport must have a serviceable radio,  ATC transponder ( mode C ) and  ADS-b Out capability. In case of temporary failure contact the Airport manager before departure.

o) All pilots shall contact the Airport Manager before their first landing at Citrus Hedging Ranch Airport.

p) Utilize frequency 122.0 for all pattern and safety-of-flight communications pertaining to 96FD.

q) Every Pilot operating an aircraft into/out/over of Citrus Hedging Ranch Airport shall pay, before departure, the appropriate facility & ramp fees to Anyway, Inc. Unpaid fees will be requested to the airplane owner, including a collection costs.

r) Airport operations are limited to VFR conditions during 8am - 5pm hours.

s) Takeoffs and landing outside the business hours must be coordinated in advance with the Airport Manager. Overtime fees apply.

t) All Pilots and Aircrew Shall Not operate any aircraft in a careless or reckless manner.

u) All Pilots and Aircrew Shall Not attempt takeoff at 96FD when our runway is shorter than the take off distance length for your aircraft configuration plus at least 10% correction when the runway is dry, 20% correction when the runway is wet. Take off with standing water is prohibited.

v) All Pilots and Aircrew Shall Not attempt to land at 96FD when the runway is occupied, covered by standing water and anytime the approach is not stabilized as per FAA-H-8083-3C chapter 9 and the landing in not conducted in the touch down zone at the proper approach speed as defined in the airplane AFM/POH.

w) Vehicular access to runway and taxiway is prohibited. Limited access could be coordinated with the Airport Manager remaining outside the area of operation. Subject to availability.

x) In addition to the above, Helicopters shall operate their aircraft to prevent noise, downwash and debris from damaging the surrounding houses, aircraft, vehicles, people, etc. Land abeam east of the threshold 35 and park in the S ramp, unless otherwise instructed.
